MEET THE FOUNDER

STEVEN GAMBINO

Steven Gambino, RA founder and principal member of the Architectural Collaborative entered the world of architecture in 1987 as a graduate from New York Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Architecture “Cum Laude” and the recipient of the Dean's Award of Excellence. His academic career included induction into the NYIT honor society, recipient of various AIA design scholarships, appointment to the National Dean's List, a program of study in Architectural Design and History at the School of Architecture in Venice Italy, and president of the local Student AIA chapter.

In 1992 he founded “SGA” Steven Gambino Architect providing comprehensive architectural services to a diverse clientele in need of small residential alterations to multi-million-dollar commercial developments and everything else in between.

His brand of architectural design and service is rooted in his commitment to "listen to the needs of his client".

A natural evolution of this principal included an expansion of his services and the formation of “GLA” Gambino + LaPorta Architecture.

After a history of over 30 years of service to his clients Steven has founded the broadest expansion and evolution of architectural services under the “AC” Architectural Collaborative affording his clients years of experience in all phases of architectural service, design, code analysis, and construction administration.

Humility is integral to his approach for every project and level of service so that the result serves the needs of his clients and their success.  It is for this reason that his clients are often long-term relationships that seek his broad expertise and level of attention to detail.

“As architects let us acknowledge that only God creates;
and let the fruits of our craft always strive to be bound
by that truth.”
